The company began with a select range of shortbread biscuits in the town of Lipiny Stare, where a facility specializing in sweet baked goods was established. The enterprise was named after its founder, Gerard Kolanowski. Within just one year of operation, the company expanded its product range from five to fifty items, and today, the manufacturer produces over 200 varieties of biscuits.
